Rogers, Duncan & Dillehay, P.A. take leadership role in community by being only orthodontic or dental office to run a United Way campaign. Employees at Drs. Rogers, Duncan & Dillehay, P.A. take pride in the services they offer. Their work means much more than straighting teeth. "We are helping make our community beautiful," says Carol Leighton, office administrator at Drs. Rogers, Duncan & Dillehay. "We look at it as enhancing people, and that is what makes United Way such a perfect fit for us — because our philosophy compares with what United Way is all about." Leighton says that their campaign was helped by a great loaned executive from United Way — sponsored by Cessna Aircraft Company — as well as the personal experience from someone in their office family that could relate to the United Way campaign video's feature story. "Everyone realized that United Way is not for the poor and destitute, it's for everyone," says Leighton. "The video tied into the circumstance we were all going through, showing us that everyone gets something from United Way." The employees at Drs. Rogers, Duncan & Dillehay joined forces to make their campaign a success. Their campaign raised $6,172, marking a 44 percent increase over their previous year and receiving the campaign Award of Excellence for their campaign potential.
