Carol Leighton
Carol is the Treatment Coordinator for the practice. She has worked with the office since 1980! Her original application was for the position of “Stenographer”, boy that was a while ago! She has since acquired management duties and serves as liaison for the clients and our referring dental offices. Carol truly enjoys all aspects of her job. “I am very grateful for having had the opportunity to be apart of this growing success story!” Carol and David recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary, are proud of their three children: Donovan, Katie and Maggie and 13 grandchildren! The oldest is 12 years and the youngest is a few months old. You can imagine how her spare time is occupied. Carol’s family plays an active role in the Catholic community while enjoying swimming in the summer and occasional camping trips throughout the year. Carol’s “bucket list” includes some traveling, particularly Rome and Hawaii.
Debbie Blevins
Debbie is a chairside assistant and worked with Dr. Dillehay from 1997 – 2002, and then returned in 2007. Debbie is married and has three children, ages 12, 10 and 6. Debbie resides in Wichita on the west side of town. She loves helping people have smiles they can be proud of! Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Kim Potter
Kim joined the Team in 1992 as an orthodontic assistant. Prior to that, she worked as an assistant in general dentistry for 15 years. She loves having the opportunity of working with patients and helping them achieve a great smile. Outside the office, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband of 24 years, Ken, their two daughters, Erica and Kayla and especially being “Mimi” to her grandchildren, Cadin and Camryn. As the team leader for the clinical area, Kim looks forward to helping provide you with a fun and positive orthodontic experience.
Sheryl Fletcher
Sheryl Fletcher is our Lab Technician and has been for over thirty years! She and her husband, Johnny, live on the west side of Wichita and spend a good deal of their time caring for their “babies” Penny and Missy, their miniature pinchers. When she isn’t at the office making special appliances and retainers, you might find Sheryl at the mall with her girlfriends or creating a healthy dish to take to the next family get together. “A beautiful smile is a patient’s investment, and I consider it my job to protect that investment with retainers!”
Kelly Wise
Kelly has been an orthodontic assistant at Rogers, Duncan and Dillehay for seven years. She has a degree in communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism from Wichita State University. “The best part of my job is seeing the results and the difference a beautiful smile makes in someone’s life!” Kelly and her husband, John, have two dogs and two cats. They enjoy boating, riding motorcycles, playing golf and tennis.
Judi Junkins
Judi Junkins was very excited to join our team in November, 1995, after moving to Wichita from upstate New York. She was a dental assistant in New York for several years, but loves orthodontics so much more. Judi teased her patients and boss in NY that she was moving to Kansas to meet a man with courage, a heart and a brain. She found him in September, 1999 and married Shaun in November, 2000! She has 3 terrific stepdaughters; they enjoy traveling, movies and shopping (of course!) Working with her patients to achieve a great smile to keep for life is Judi’s most rewarding job ever.
Janise Thurston
Janise joined Rogers, Duncan and Dillehay in 1995 as a chairside assistant. She loves working with a professional team who share her passion helping people understand the importance of orthodontics. Having experienced wearing braces as a child, Janise knows how orthodontics has helped her and is excited to be able to help others feel good about their smiles. Janise lives in Benton, KS with her husband, Mike. She has two daughters, Debra and Leigh and one granddaughter, Kyla, who she loves to spoil! She also has two step children, Sarah and Adam. Mike and Janise enjoy spending time with family. Janise loves photography and scrapbooking. She has her African Grey, Mogley and Chihuahua, Jinx and two cats to keep her busy.
Julia Clark
Julia is the office Finance Manager. She has been working in the accounting industry since 2006, and joined this office in early 2008. “It’s a wonderful environment to spend my time and energy. Everyone loves what they do and it reflects in every way.” Julia has 2 daughters and resides in Andover, KS. She is an active member in her church and often volunteers in community or school related events. She enjoys playing the piano, singing, exercising, gardening and watching movies with her family.
Michelle Tetreault
Michelle is a chairside assistant with the practice since April, 1979. She enjoys her work so much; it’s hard for her to believe so many years have passed. Michelle and Rick have a seventeen year old son. During leisure time, they enjoy watching his wrestling tournaments and football games. The family frequents the lake, watching movies and Michelle loves curling up with a good book.
Carol Schroer
Carol has been with the practice since September, 1975. She is one of the receptionists greeting you and making your next appointment. Over the years, Carol has made a lot of appointments and it has been a pleasure for her to see a second generation of families coming into our office. Carol has been married twenty years, has three beautiful step daughters who have blessed her and her husband, Dennis, with six grandchildren. They, of course, are the light of her life. Carol enjoys going to the movies with her family, making quilts (lots of quilts) and reading in her spare time.!
Natalie Stegman
As an assistant in the field of orthodontics, Natalie Stegman has enjoyed the opportunity to interact with our patients. It is apparent to her through the patients she encounters daily that every person is unique having something great to share with society. Natalie sees this carried out in her patients daily thru their actions, stories and smiles. How great! The reason she chose to work in our office is because since childhood, teeth have held a great fascination to her. “A smile can communicate so much and with that added confidence, there are added smiles! Who can hide from a contagious smile?!” Natalie graduated from K-State with honors in Organizational Speech Communication B.A. and an emphasis in Graphic Design. Since graduation, she lived in Barcelona, Spain teaching English as a second language. Upon certification in this area, she traveled Europe working in different cultures and exploring the various communications barriers that we experience as a global society. Natalie is also a certified crisis counselor for sexual assault victims and she uses this certification in partnership with the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center. Natalie hopes to further her education in areas such as sign language and/or medicine. During “down time”, Natalie enjoys time with family and friends over meals, board games, cards, or taking walks. Her hobbies include running, painting and singing. She works part-time as a freelance graphic designer while aspiring to travel to France, India, Africa and Xiamen, China, the home of her college roommate. She has been a member of our practice since May of 2009.
Dena Waller
Chairside assistant, Dena, came to our practice in 2006 from a background in general dentistry. Dena finds orthodontics very rewarding and believes a beautiful smile will take you everywhere. While running a small business of her own, Dena also loves spending time with her three children. Any spare time they find, Dena and her husband, Doug, can be found “in the wind” on their award winning, custom motorcycles.
JilI Thurlby
JilI Thurlby has worked in the dental field for fourteen years, but joined our Team as chairside assistant in 2000. She has a degree in business management. She and her husband, Nick, reside in west Wichita. They enjoy spending time with their two boxer dogs and happily welcomed their first child, Cohn Randal, on November 3, 2009. During her “down time”, Jill plays the piano, exercises and decorates their new home.
Lisa Berube
Lisa has been with the practice since February, 2001. She works in the records department, which she really enjoys. “I get to see patients from when they first start their treatment and then again at the end of their treatment. I really enjoy seeing the difference we have made in our patients’ self-confidence and how much their smile has changed. It is very rewarding.” Outside of work, Lisa really enjoys spending time with family and friends especially her husband and little girl. She is expecting a baby boy in December 2009. Lisa loves to travel. Her favorite locations are Cancun, Hawaii, St. Thomas, Grand Cayman and any place warm and tropical.
Brittany Preston
Brittany has been with Rogers, Duncan and Dillehay since August, 2009. She and her husband have eight year old twins, Grant and Kelly, and reside in Goddard, Kansas. Brittany enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children play sports. She is excited about her new career in orthodontics and is looking forward to getting to know all the patients.
Kari Miller
Kari Miller is the accountant for the practice and has been in the accounting industry for twenty years. She has been with the company since February of 1998. “I feel so blessed that this job found me. The doctor and staff are a pleasure to work with.” She has a B.B.A. in accounting from Wichita State University and is currently perusing an MBA. Kari is married with one son and lives in Andover, KS. Her hobbies are reading, gardening and riding motorcycles.
Sherri Gifford
Sherri has been receptionist with Drs. Rogers, Duncan and Dillehay since 1990. She loves meeting and helping the patients in the practice. She has three children and they keep very busy with sports, church and other activities. Her daughter is 20 and her sons are 14 and 7. She spends her free time at sporting events, watching movies with the kids, singing with the Worship Team at church and cooking.
Shelly Schutz
Shelly Schutz is a chairside assistant who worked for the practice from 1996— 2001. Her husband is a pilot for the USAF and they have lived in Little Rock, AR and Abilene, TX. She is now back in Wichita and happily returned to work for Dr. Dillehay in October, 2009. She met Dr. Dillehay back in 1985 as a patient. She was so intrigued by the transformation of her smile that it led to her pursuing a career in orthodontics. Ironically, her first place of employment was with Drs. Rogers, Duncan and Dillehay! A smile is contagious and infectious! Shelly believes that helping our patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile is the most rewarding part of her job. She has been blessed in life with wonderful a husband and 4 amazing children. In her spare time she enjoys going to watch her children participate in extracurricular activities, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She is so excited to be back at home in Wichita and at Drs. Rogers, Duncan and Dillehay.
